The YMS Beta Club is a proud service club. We have high standards for our members and want to provide the Beta students with opportunities that will guide them to be our leaders of tomorrow.
The following is a list of requirements that a student must adhere to remain a member of the YMS Beta Club. 1. The student must maintain a 90 or above in his or her four academic classes and connection classes. (Straight A's) 2. The students will be required each grading period to show their report card to Beta Club sponsers. 3. Students must attend all monthly meetings. We only hold a few meetings throughout the school year and feel it is important that students realize the importance of making a commitment to the club. If an emergency arises and the student is unable to attend, the student will need to provide a written excuse prior to the next scheduled meeting to continue to be a club member. The coaching staff at YMS is supportive of our endevour and students are able to miss a portion of practice to stay current with club events. 4. Students must complete 3 service projects. 5. Beta Club will consist of 7th & 8th grade members ONLY. 6th grade members will be inducted in the 2nd semester.
